Your Garden As A Canvas

The Endless Summer hydrangea (2 years old) forms a focal point in subtle hues of purple blues and reds, and stands in stark contrast to the monochromatic Dwarf Cleome in the near foreground.

Here, the hydrangea is shown in a grouping with tiny blue daisies. To the left are Spiderwort.

The green-yellow pallet formed by the blankeet of Painter's Pallette works well with the swath of Coreopsis.

Japanese hakone Aureolos grass always shows up in a glorious burst of golden yellow, and with years will grow into a graceful waterfall of gold. Here it is shown next to a large Frances Williams hosta, with blue/gree and yellow leaves.

Shrubs and Perennials - A Picture Show

This is a dappled willow, made to look like a tree. The dappled willow will also grow as a simple bush, with massive annual growth, and the foliage looks like above. Stunning.

Here is a picture of a dappled willow our neighbors put in only a few years ago, as a 5-gallon bush. Now it is almost 12 feet tall, and growing by the inch, every day.

The similarly super-hardy, can't-kill-it bush, Euonymus Manhattan, is both a prolific grower as well as a dense privacy specimen
